About
Born and raised in southern Minnesota, Josh immersed himself in music to help battle depression and Bipolar disorder. From a young age, you could find him in his bedroom studying, analyzing, and listening to music of all genres. He received his first guitar at the age of 12 and has spent more than 20 years playing in cover bands. Josh also dedicated his adult career to serving seniors as a healthcare administrator and was a strong voice for doing the right thing and speaking the truth about the healthcare industry. This eventually led to him being shunned by the industry, but Josh likes to call it “God’s Redirection.”
This new direction has led Josh closer to his faith and a calling to pursue his dream of music so that it impacts and heals those who find comfort in his voice and songwriting. Josh is a husband, father, animal lover, and advocate for those struggling with mental health. His first song John 3:16 was written as a reply to his daughter, who had asked him, “Where do we go when we’re done down here?” He currently splits his time between Minnesota and Nashville in pursuit of every artist’s dream: to play on the big stage!
